IMEX America 2026 will serve as a central gathering point for the global business events sector to meet and do business face to face when the show returns to Las Vegas, October 13-15.
According to the Edelman Trust Barometer 2026, trust is now underpinned by personal networks—people increasingly rely on those they know and have met directly, reinforcing the value of in-person events at a time when authenticity and credibility matter more than ever.
Attendee registration for the 15th edition of the show is now open, paving the way for buyers and suppliers to come together on site for three days to spark new ideas, forge partnerships and move business forward.
Carina Bauer, IMEX CEO, highlights this shift: “Being in the room matters, and it’s having a moment! IMEX America is where our global community comes together to do business, to learn—but also to feel seen, heard and understood. It’s these “IRL” experiences that help our industry not only to remain resilient, but also to thrive and prosper.
“Yes, online has its place in business but, increasingly, live events deliver a richness of experience, a sense of solidarity and access to trusted information and relationships that digital simply can’t match.”
Supporting meaningful business
Attendees can expect a show designed and reshaped year on year to support meaningful business, high-value networking and industry-shaping insights.
Explori’s independent post-show analysis of IMEX America 2025 underscores this. Data shows that for the market-leading hosted buyer program comprising over 4,700 pre-vetted event planners and buyers, the "importance of IMEX" increased from 2024’s 88%, to 91%.
The majority of hosted buyers surveyed also rated networking at IMEX America as “good or excellent,” reinforcing the value of being physically present.
Education that elevates the industry
IMEX America’s free learning program continues to increase its impact. In 2025, Explori data also shows that attendees reported greater success in achieving their learning goals, supported by improvements to programming, education track structure, listings and the enhanced IMEX show app.
For 2026, attendees will have access to a broad schedule of sessions, allowing them to build their own learning journey. Tracks include: Advanced event logistics, Health and well-being; Marketing and engagement and Tech enabled futures. New tracks for this year include Designing for human needs, Design Matters, Design for spectacle and Regenerative design—all rooted in IMEX’s 2026/2027 Talking Point, celebrating design as the ultimate experience differentiator.
All learning sessions are complimentary and open to all IMEX participants
IMEX America takes place at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, October 13-15.
