CIMX Announces Partnership with Sourcing China

Previous •

Taking place from 3-5 November 2026 in Beijing, the China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) has partnered with Sourcing China, a leading corporate procurement network, to bring qualified corporate decision makers to its inaugural edition. The strategic collaboration expands corporate buyer participation and creates new business opportunities between global MICE suppliers and Chinese enterprises.

Developed by Messe Berlin China, CIMX is a new-generation international trade show dedicated to the MICE and business travel sector, connecting global suppliers with qualified buyers in one focused marketplace.

Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Buyer Program

Through the partnership, Sourcing China will bring a curated delegation of qualified corporate decision-makers to CIMX as hosted buyers. Participants will meet destinations, convention bureaus, venues, hotels and MICE suppliers from China and international markets through pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments and curated networking formats tailored to real sourcing requirements.

Sourcing China is one of China's leading professional procurement organizations, dedicated to advancing strategic sourcing, procurement innovation, and supply chain excellence across Chinese enterprises. It connects procurement executives, corporate buyers, and industry experts through conferences, executive forums, training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Through its extensive corporate network and influence within China's procurement community, Sourcing China plays a significant role in shaping the future of procurement and supply chain management in China and facilitating international business collaboration.

Responding to Evolving Corporate Sourcing Needs

As global MICE sourcing continues to evolve, organizations are increasingly coordinating requirements across events, business travel, meetings, and international engagement activities. This shift is placing greater emphasis on structured supplier access, efficient evaluation processes, and cross-functional alignment within enterprises. Corporate procurement teams play an important role in consolidating internal requirements and engaging external partners in a structured and outcome-oriented way.

CIMX addresses this need by providing a curated environment where global suppliers and qualified buyers can connect through targeted meetings and focused engagement formats.

CIMX will be promoted across the Sourcing China network, extending the event’s visibility among senior corporate stakeholders involved in business event planning, travel coordination, and global sourcing activities.

“As more Chinese companies accelerate their global expansion, the procurement of international conferences, business events, and business travel is becoming increasingly complex,” said Jennifer Gao, Vice President of Sourcing China. “By bringing together high-quality destinations, venues, hotels, and MICE suppliers from around the world, CIMX provides corporate procurement managers with a centralized, efficient, and trustworthy ecosystem that significantly improves supplier selection efficiency while reducing procurement costs and communication complexity.”

“As corporate sourcing becomes more integrated across functions, we see a clear need for platforms that connect decision-makers with global suppliers in a structured and efficient manner,” said Nikolaos Swoch, Director of CIMX at Messe Berlin China. “CIMX is designed to meet this need by creating a focused environment where requirements can be translated into real business engagement. The collaboration with Sourcing China strengthens this by bringing highly relevant corporate stakeholders with buying capacity directly into the CIMX marketplace.”
