The Russian hotel chain AZIMUT Hotels is expanding its international presence and entering the tourism market of the Persian Gulf countries. Two of the Russian chain's resort hotels are set to open in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula this October.

AZIMUT Hotels has signed an agreement to manage hotels on the picturesque Musandam Peninsula in the Sultanate of Oman. The properties are located 5 km apart and within 5–10 km of Musandam Airport. Guests can enjoy activities such as fishing, diving, and snorkeling both within the complexes and in the surrounding area of the peninsula.

The four-star AZIMUT Hotel Musandam Oman features 105 rooms and offers guests a high level of service in line with the international standards of the AZIMUT Hotels chain. Guests can choose from spacious family rooms ranging from 47 to 83 square meters and 87-square-meter split-level apartments with private terraces. The hotel’s interiors feature an Eastern-inspired design, and the rooms offer panoramic views of the bay, the pool, or the internal garden. On-site amenities include a restaurant, three swimming pools, children's play areas, a fitness center, and conference facilities for business events.

The facilities at the three-star AZIMUT Hotel Khasab include 60 rooms, including 12 chalets. The property features a swimming pool, conference rooms, a restaurant, and a bar.

The opening of properties managed by a Russian operator in the Sultanate of Oman demonstrates the high level of partnership between the two countries. Today, the AZIMUT Hotels chain is focused on developing international projects: in 2025, the company opened a second major hotel in Tashkent, and properties in Israel and Kyrgyzstan are currently being prepared for launch.

"The Sultanate of Oman is a promising destination with growing tourist traffic, and we are delighted to introduce our first hotel there. The opening of AZIMUT Hotel Musandam Oman and AZIMUT Hotel Hasab marks a significant step in the company’s international expansion and adds a new region to our portfolio. We are the first Russian operator entrusted with managing a hotel property in the Sultanate; this is both highly valued and a major responsibility. We plan to open both properties in October 2026," noted Maxim Brodovsky, CEO of AZIMUT Hotels.
