VALENCIA, Spain, 18–20 October 2026— Europe Congress successfully hosted the 2026 edition of MCE South Europe from 18–20 October in Valencia, Spain. The MICE forum brought together international event planners and carefully selected MICE service providers and destinations from across Europe for business meetings, networking and destination discovery.

Over 2.5 days, participants took part in match-made, one-to-one B2B meetings, destination presentations, networking events and social activities designed to create new business opportunities while showcasing the best of Valencia and the wider South Europe region.

The event brought together selected event planners and MICE suppliers for a focused program of business meetings, site visits, and city tours. Through a combination of one-on-one meetings and destinationfocused activities, event planners had the opportunity to meet suppliers based on the destinations and services most relevant to their needs. Networking lunches, coffee breaks, evening events and social activities provided additional opportunities to build relationships and discuss future business.

Valencia provided a memorable setting for participants to experience the destination beyond the meeting room. Sightseeing and social activities introduced attendees to the city, its event infrastructure, culture and gastronomy, while offering an informal setting for continued networking. Dinners at Roig Arena and Palau

Alameda, two of Valencia’s major event venues, offered a taste of what Valencia has to offer the MICE industry.

Local DMC The Orange Guide provided cultural activities for participants during the event, including a Batucada drum session, and Valencia Convention Bureau organised pre- and post-event tours, taking participants on walking, bus, and bike tours of the city; to a cocktail making workshop; on a visit to the Hortensia Herrero Art Centre; and to Museum of the College of High Silk Art.

The event was hosted at Meliá Valencia, which provided a base for the forum’s business meetings and program activities. Valencia’s combination of modern conference facilities, distinctive venues, Mediterranean character and international accessibility made it a fitting setting for professionals from across the meetings and events industry.

Europe Congress has six events upcoming in 2027 in Krakow, Poland; Innsbruck, Austria; Hamburg, Germany; Prague, Czechia; Riga, Latvia; and Malaga, Costa del Sol, Spain.
