Angelo currently holds the position of IHG Balkan Area General Manager, which he will continue to fulfill while taking on this new role at Regent Porto Montenegro. Prior to joining Regent Porto Montenegro, Angelo served as the General Manager at InterContinental Sofia since June 2018, concurrently holding the position of IHG Balkan Area General Manager. In his new capacity, Angelo will be responsible for overseeing six luxurious hotels and managing any future developments in the region.
Expressing his enthusiasm for this opportunity, Angelo Zuccala, the General Manager of Regent Porto Montenegro, shared his excitement about relocating to Montenegro after over twelve years of working in the Balkan region. Angelo's career with IHG began in 2003 at the Carlton Cannes as the Director of Events Sales. With more than 21 years of experience within the brand, Angelo has played a key role in the growth and stability of the Balkan region as the Area General Manager. Under his leadership, the region has seen consistent improvements in quality, leading to several global tourism awards, including four of his hotels being recognized among the top eight Elite Hotels in Guest Love in 2023.
Having developed a strong affinity for the Balkan region, Angelo is eager to contribute to hotel advancements and collaborate with the exceptional team at Regent Porto Montenegro.
