ALGARVE, Portugal, 19–21 October 2025 — Europe Congress has successfully closed out MCE South Europe, their penultimate event of 2025. In partnership with Visit Algarve, this specialised B2B MICE forum was held at Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort & Hotel Spa from 19–21 October, inviting high quality international event planners to the Algarve to meet with event service providers from South Europe and beyond.
In close association with host partner Visit Algarve, Europe Congress brought international event planners and event service providers—primarily from South Europe—to the Algarve for 2.5 days of pre-scheduled B2B meetings and destination awareness. Known as a major tourist destination in the south of Portugal, the Algarve is quickly growing as a region for MICE events due to its range of beautiful venues, year-round sunshine, and fantastic local cuisine.
“The Algarve Tourism Bureau is proud to support the organization of MCE South Europe 2025,” said André Gomes, president of the Algarve Tourism Bureau, “and to highlight the Algarve’s year-round appeal as a premier destination for business and scientific events.”
Hosted at the 5-star Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort & Hotel Spa with the assistence of local AV partner Eventeam, attendees enjoyed beachfront views and experienced some of the region’s best hospitality during a weekend packed with networking opportunities. Surrounded by luxury service, top-tier amenities, and unmatched sea views, MCE South Europe offered participants an ideal setting for building new business and familiarising themselves with the South Europe MICE industry.
Outside of the meeting room, event participants had the option to join an exclusive FAM trip prior to the forum. Participants’ programs were action-packed for the weekend, with options for further tours and activities: a boat tour of the coastline and iconic Benagil caves by AlgarExperience; a tasting and vineyard tour at the local Quinta do Canhoto winery; a golf clinic; a cooking class where attendees learned how to cook a traditional cataplana at Pine Cliffs Resort; or a trip to the Designer Outlet Algarve.
Europe Congress has a full calendar of six events coming up in 2026. Registration is now open for events in Sofia, Bulgaria; Budapest, Hungary; Copenhagen, Denmark; Düsseldorf, Germany; Prague, Czechia; and Valencia, Spain.
