Several Zurich hotels will reopen under new management, and exciting new construction projects will complement the existing offerings. After extensive renovations, Rapperswil Castle will once again provide a spectacular setting for events. The planned opening dates are listed below.

January 2025
With a capacity of up to 450 people, the event space at memox Flughafen West offers a bright and spacious setting for meetings, presentations, and workshops. Flexible furnishings, bistro corners, modern AV technology, and regional catering ensure a well-equipped environment for various events.
Hotel Alden Splügenschloss Zürich – Leonardo Limited Edition
February 2025
22 individually designed suites in a listed building in the heart of Zurich's elegant Enge district: the Hotel Alden Splügenschloss has reopened after a careful makeover and is now the city's smallest 5-star hotel. With original parquet flooring and stucco, the rooms exude historic charm and a warm, elegant atmosphere. The Alden Restaurant offers guests excellent a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner in a refined setting.
Swiss Game Hub
April 2025
In a former factory hall near Zürich Oerlikon train station, the Swiss Game Hub was founded as an incubator for the Swiss gaming industry. The lofty, airy coworking and event space features an auditorium and three meeting rooms available for hire.
Museum Haus Konstruktiv
May 2025
The Museum Haus Konstruktiv has a new home at the Löwenbräu art complex in the vibrant Zürich-West district. This move places Switzerland's leading institution for constructive-concrete and conceptual art right alongside other renowned Zurich art galleries and museums.
memox The Circle
May 2025
Open since May 2025: memox's newest venue is located right next to the airport within the Novu Campus at The Circle. The location offers bright and flexible meeting spaces with views of the runway and the adjacent park. A bistro with terrace offers space for events with up to 80 guests.
Mama Shelter
July 2025
Switzerland's first boutique hotel of the French chain Mama Shelter opened in summer 2025 in the building of the former Swissôtel in Zurich Oerlikon. This design hotel features various meeting rooms, a restaurant and bar, and a gym.
Restaurant Bergstube
October 2025
High above Zurich, Bergstube combines cozy charm with elegant Swiss cuisine across four inviting dining rooms. Ideal for aperitifs, business dinners, or events of up to 150 guests.
Westhive Paradeplatz
November 2025
Prime location and first-class service: The newest Westhive location right at Paradeplatz offers five exclusive boardrooms for meetings in a distinguished ambiance. Open space desks are also available for flexible coworking.
Au Premier
November 2025
It couldn't be more central: the historic halls and lounges of Au Premier are located right next to Zurich's Main Train Station. Modernly equipped and flexibly combinable, they are ideal for meetings, seminars or festive occasions.
Moxy Hotel Zurich Letzigrund
December 2025
The first Moxy Hotel in the city of Zurich is located near Letzigrund. The building of the former H+ Hotel has been extensively renovated and modernized. Guests can look forward to 162 rooms in the signature playful Moxy style. The ground floor now features a lobby area with a modern and vibrant atmosphere.
Palais Mascotte
End of January 2026
The legendary Zurich nightclub first opened in 1916. After a brief closure, it reopened in early 2026 with a refreshed concept. The iconic space with the large window front facing the Opera House and Sechseläutenplatz is once again available for corporate events, workshops, or presentations.

Villa Florhof
Early 2026
The tradition-steeped Hotel Florhof in Zurich's old town will reopen in 2026 as "Villa Florhof". The landmarked building will house a boutique hotel of the luxury brand Lalique. Plans include 13 rooms, a premium restaurant, terrace, bar, lounge and fumoir. The historic vaulted wine cellar will continue to form the foundation of the house.
The Valley & Motorworld
Fall 2027
The multi-event venue at the former Maggi site in Kemptthal already offers 19 spectacular locations for groups ranging from 5 to 5,000 participants. In fall 2027, the venue will expand to include a Motorworld Inn restaurant in the historic coal bunker, offering around 150 seats. Additionally, a second event hall with a capacity of 2,000 people is being built in the adjacent Kesselhaus.
Capsule Hotel at Central
Early 2027
From Cinema to Capsule Hotel: The former Alba Cinema at Central will be transformed into a capsule hotel with around 30 double pods by early 2027. Respectfully renovated, it offers a new, urban overnight option right in the city center.
Revier Hotel Neuhausen am Rheinfall
2027
The Revier Hotel Neuhausen am Rheinfall, featuring 145 rooms and a comprehensive seminar infrastructure, is due to open on the SIG industrial site in Neuhausen in 2027. Located directly on the edge of the site, the hotel offers a spectacular view of the Rhine Falls.
