Messe Berlin China, the organizer of ITB China, has launched a new trade fair dedicated to China’s growing business events, meetings, and incentives sector—responding to industry demand for an international MICE focused platform in China.
CIMX | China International MICE Exchange, taking place 3–5 November 2026 in Beijing, was officially announced during the ITB China MICE Meeting Point in September last year. The new platform connects Chinese and international stakeholders through professional exchange, curated business matching, and targeted networking formats.

WHAT THE INDUSTRY SAYS
“China is becoming one of the most dynamic MICE markets globally, yet truly international, MICE-focused trade platforms remain limited. A show like CIMX is important for connecting real buyer demand with global experience and professional solutions.”
David Chen, President & Chairman China Smart MICE Group, President, China Travel Association MICE Committee
“As Chinese companies expand globally, event and incentive programs are becoming more complex and results-driven. Buyers are looking for platforms where we can efficiently evaluate destinations, venues, and partners that are capable of delivering professional, scalable solutions.”
Michael Xiao, Founder & CEO of Momust Deputy Director of China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee
“China lacks MICE-specific trade shows with a clear focus. CIMX offers an important opportunity for us to engage directly with corporate decision-makers and to introduce buyers to a broader range of destinations beyond the usual choices.”
Annie Liew, Senior Director, Commercial Optimization, Radisson Hotel Group
“Platforms like CIMX provide valuable opportunities to engage with Chinese planners and partners, and to strengthen long-term collaboration between destinations and buyers.”
Dr Edward Koh, Executive Director, Conventions, Meetings and Incentive Travel, Singapore Tourism Board
