Do you know what a banyan tree is? This is the most amazing tree on earth, and it can occupy an entire forest: so wide it is and so many roots descend from it. Banyan Tree Phuket 5*, the most luxurious and the largest hotel in Phuket, is located in the Laguna resort cluster, and it is decorated with several such trees. 

The hotel opened its doors 30 years ago and turned the idea of the hotel industry upside down. This is the first hotel in the Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts network which is now considered the benchmark of Asian hospitality. Previously, hotels were mostly large buildings with rooms, but the Banyan Tree concept is detached villas. And each one with its own swimming pool. There is no beach in the hotel, you need to get to the sea by a golf cart, but this does not bother anyone, because there is a lot of water in the hotel’s territory, and it gives beauty and coolness everywhere. The star rating of this hotel is said to be 5 plus.

The hotel offers a range of exclusive services: golf and tennis, fitness programs, cycling through picturesque places (bicycles are parked near each villa for free movement around the vast territory). Banyan Tree Phuket is called a SPA hotel, and the main spa academy is even located next to the resort, where therapists are trained for the Banyan Tree network around the world.

It should be noted that the spacious multifunctional halls for business events can be transformed into almost any format. Each location provides a screen and a projector. The Lagoon Deck hall with a spacious terrace is perfect for outdoor events, allowing you to enjoy nature and the atmosphere of an event by the water, with a capacity of up to 300 persons in theatrical seating. It was on the Deck that our workshop, its coffee breaks, and receptions took place, and we got there on a picturesque hotel ferry. Although the journey took a couple of minutes, it was very impressive. The stylish Banyan Hall can accommodate up to 80 persons. The Angsana and Cassia Chamber Halls can accommodate up to 60 persons each.
